One of our goals at ESSENTIAL CLEANING is to be ECOFRIENDLY and environmentally conscious! It's just one reason why we are the leading cleaning company in Las Vegas, Henderson and surrounding areas. However, for certain jobs we may have to use stronger chemicals to complete the service within the timeframe requested. Cleaning ovens is often one of those jobs! If so, you will be notified prior to service and given the option to accept or decline.
No, only if you want to be! Many of our residential clients enjoy working out, lunch dates, work meetings, shopping or other personal and professional activities while trusting our insured cleaning professionals with a spare key kept in an on-site lock box or key code to enter. Our Commercial clients have usually already gone home for the day, and service is provided during non-operating hours. During Post-Construction Clean ups, we request that the building or home be free of any other contractors doing work, but that doesn't always happen when finishing up with a deadline. With that being said, we are also experienced in working well with others to get the job done, within reason.
Please don't hesitate to ask! We are always happy to accommodate extra tasks as long as you review our guidelines, sign and return prior to your scheduled service.
Adding extras on the day of service is subject to approval. For Contract Jobs, we are happy to deliver a change order hassle free.
If you are not pleased with our service (both residential and commercial clients), contact us within 24 hours upon completion of services, & we will return at no additional cost to you, and make it right!
Absolutely! We have residential clients that request us to stick within a certain budget for a one-time service, or sporadic cleaning. For that occasion, scheduling is subject to availability and we charge based on scope of work, level of build up, and frequency. We will discuss a priority list for your visit to ensure we hit those main areas in the limited time we have!
We have a $150 booking minimum.
- We accept cash (enclosed in a fully sealed envelope, with your full name and date written on the outside). Please give to your service provider before cleaning begins.

Unpaid Invoices and Late Fees. In the event of unpaid invoices, the Client acknowledges and agrees that all overdue balances will incur an automatic late fee of five percent (5%) of the total outstanding amount every thirty (30) days until the invoice is paid in full. The late fee will be applied at the end of each 30-day period and is cumulative. Essential Cleaning reserves the right to pause or terminate services until all outstanding balances, including late fees, are paid. Unpaid invoices and all late cumulative late fees will result in collections after 60 days.
We understand that things come up, life happens, and sometimes you need to cancel, postpone service or reschedule. In order to help prevent any last minute cancellations, you will receive reminder emails and text notifications prior to your cleaning.
ESSENTIAL CLEANING does require a 48-hour notice for cancellation - answered phone calls and text messages are acceptable forms of communication and all messages are time stamped for accuracy.
At the time of cancellation, we will go over a time that works best to reschedule your cleaning. If you are unable to provide 48-hour notice you will be charged 25% of your cleaning. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the cleaning. This percentage applies to all lockouts as well.
ESSENTIAL CLEANING aims to only hire cleaners with integrity. That means, we shine a spotlight on this issue, instead of sweeping it under the rug. We encourage all partners and staff to communicate immediately if anything is broken or damaged. Our staff are trained to photograph any damage and report it immediately, without fear of being reprimanded. Each cleaner is careful and respectful of your space. With that being said, we are all human! Accidents do happen! Once the damage is reported to the office, we will promptly contact you to discuss a quick and fair resolution. We will do our best to repair or replace an item that is broken. Each residential and commercial cleaner is fully insured, and therefore an insurance claim can be filed (when applicable). If you have any irreplaceable or sentimental items - we kindly ask that you put these away, in a safe spot during your service. Or you may choose to leave them out at your own risk. During booking, inform the office of any special or sentimental items (in writing) that your cleaners should avoid or not touch.
Please note, we do not replace or repair items that had existing damage or were improperly installed.
Although we intentionally assign buildings, areas and specific homes to certain people or teams... the reality is, that in order to serve you consistently, we must work together AS a team, and rotate at times. Our team members also have families and personal schedules to tend to, and we aim to give them the flexibility needed to do so as much as possible (within reason ofcourse). We cross train our team members through video training, quizzes, hands on training in our office, field training, and continued learning to keep everyone sharp.
Gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated, and accepted!
Most clients prefer to tip at the end of each cleaning in cash. Tips always help motivate your cleaners and help them feel especially appreciated for their hard work and attention to detail! Some clients prefer to provide a large tip at the end of the month. Others are given the option to tip when their card is processed for payment.
At ESSENTIAL CLEANING, we love to hear that you love our team! Please share your experience with others and leave a review on GOOGLE or our FACEBOOK page. We appreciate you too!
Adding Laundry is an additional service and typically charged per pound. Please communicate this with us in advance to ensure that we have accounted for enough time to complete the task, and that your provider is trained for that task specifically. Washing linen and towels is always something any of our cleaners can accommodate. However, laundry is sometimes a very personal request, with different delicate fabrics requiring different levels of care. Not everyone is trained for personal laundry service. One needs to know how to spot treat and care for specialty items without causing damage.
Very good question! NO! We operate by an easy-to-understand color coded system so that you can visually verify any member, at any time. You will be able to know that any microfiber rag or sponge that has EVER touched a toilet seat, would NEVER be used on your kitchen counters and vice versa.
Upon request, we are happy to wash your dishes for an additional fee! If we notice dishes left in the sink during your service, but it’s not included in your plan, we will discuss how we can best accommodate you within the scheduled time frame and budget of that day.
